cair da graça; cair em desgraça - (Fall from grace). Esta expressão pode ser entendida de duas formas:
1. cair da graça, no sentido religioso. ✰ "Humanity fell from grace when the mind divorced the heart." (A humanidade caiu da graça quando a mente se divorciou do coração.)
2. cair em desgraça. ✰ "Phil Spector was a musical genius who fell from grace as a murderer." (Hewitt, 2018). (Phil Spector era um gênio musical que caiu em desgraça como assassino.)
