falou e disse; (alguém) está com toda razão; falar um montão - (You said a mouthful). Esta expressão é usada:
1. quando o interlocutor expressa concordância com algo relevante ou importante que foi dito; equivalente a "falou e disse". (Falou). ✰ “Richard is a very talented actor,” said Rose. “You said a mouthful,” said Arthur. “He’s going to be famous!” (You said a mouthful). (“Richard é um ator muito talentoso,” disse Rose. “Falou e disse,” respondeu Arthur. “Ele vai ser famoso!”)

Quando a concordância é expressa através do discurso indireto, a frase quer dizer "você estava com a razão / coberto de razão". ✰ "When you said this was going to be our biggest year yet, you said a mouthful. Business is booming!” (Ibidem). (Quando você disse que este seria o nosso maior ano até agora, você estava com toda razão. O negócio está bombando!)

2. no sentido de "falar demais"; falar um montão. ✰ "And certainly he said a mouthful, none of it calculated to engender public respect of the particular judge." (Mouthful). (E certamente ele falou um montão, nada daquilo foi calculado para engendrar o respeito público do juiz específico.)
